MURRAY, Ky. — Murray State University will host a virtual Racer Day event on Saturday, Oct. 17. Geared toward prospective students and families, the event will provide helpful information through live, interactive sessions with admissions staff, financial services, housing and more.

Attendees can also attend a virtual session with their academic area of interest and take a virtual tour of campus. 

Both morning and afternoon sessions are available with topics including, but not limited to, the following:

  • Financial Aid/Scholarships
  • Students beginning the process of applying for admission
  • Tips and assistance for transfer students
  • Campus Life
  • Education Abroad
  • Academics and various programs of study
  • Office of Multicultural Initiatives, Student Leadership and Inclusive Excellence
  • Student Disability Services
  • The University’s Honors College
  • Residence Life/Housing
  • Career Services
  • Campus Safety
  • Veterans Affairs/ROTC

Registration for the free event is available at murraystate.edu/racerdays.

Murray State is also currently hosting multiple virtual Racer Roadshow events featuring President Dr. Bob Jackson along with Murray State Office of Recruitment staff as well as current faculty, staff and students. The events are geared toward prospective students and families to provide helpful information on the Racer experience and the opportunities Murray State students receive.

Attendees will learn more about the recruitment and admission process, receive University updates, information on financial aid and scholarships and be eligible for prizes and giveaways. 

A Q&A session will follow each Roadshow event. Virtual sessions will last approximately one hour.

Tuesday, Oct. 13, 2020 – 5 p.m.

Wednesday, Oct. 28, 2020 – 6 p.m.

Thursday, Nov. 5, 2020 – 5 p.m.

Tuesday, Nov. 10, 2020 – 5:30 p.m.

Tuesday, Nov. 17, 2020 – 5 p.m.
