MURRAY, Ky. — Murray State University Career Services is excited to announce a new partnership with Parker Dewey, the leading clearinghouse of micro-internships throughout the country. Through this collaboration, University students and alumni are invited to take part in paid short-term, professional experiences on their own time.

Through micro-internships, students can demonstrate their skills, explore career paths and develop their professional networks. Unlike a traditional internship, these paid opportunities typically range from 5-40 hours of work, and most can be completed remotely. Additionally, these internships provide workers with networking opportunities while building their resumes for future internships and their careers.

This partnership includes micro-internships across a variety of disciplines, including sales, human resources, marketing, research, finance and more.

Career Services continues to be committed to offering services like these to ensure our students have the tools for success by the time they graduate.”

Micro-internships do more than help Racers — they allow employers to get immediate support on tasks that may not be the best use of their team’s time. By engaging students while they’re in college, they can help enhance their company’s recruiting pipeline for future interns and new hires.
