The Career Services Office at Murray State University has created a “Career Closet” to provide professional outfits for career fairs, interviews, and internship opportunities for students who may not be able to afford such items on their own. Since June 2016, the office has been collecting items to build a strong inventory. The goal is to open the closet in Fall 2017.
As successful professionals and great supporters of Murray State University, we would like to offer your business the opportunity to donate any gently worn professional wear that you, employees, friends, or family members may have. Items that are needed include suits, dress pants, sport coats and blazers, professional dresses, dress shirts and blouses, dress socks, shoes, conservative jewelry, ties and belts, briefcases or portfolios and clothing racks. Monetary donations are also accepted to allow Career Services to purchase any inventory that may be low; shoes are a perfect example. As the seasons change and closets are cleaned out, please consider donating these items to the Career Closet at Murray State University.
