MURRAY, Ky. — The Kentucky Environmental Education Council (KEEC) and the Kentucky University Partnership for Environmental Education will host a public meeting at Murray State University (MSU) on Aug. 28 for input on Kentucky’s five-year environmental education master plan. The meeting will be held from 4-6 p.m. in Alexander Hall, Room 240 (auditorium) on the MSU campus.
The collaborative planning process will guide the direction and coordination of environmental education delivery throughout the state. “Educators, parents, business and industry representatives, administrators or any other interested parties are invited to attend this public meeting designed to gather ideas for how we can improve and coordinate environmental education across the commonwealth,” said Elizabeth Schmitz, KEEC executive director.
People with disabilities may request reasonable accommodations by contacting Michelle Shane at 502.564.5937.
Further meeting dates and locations will be published on the KEEC website at keec.ky.gov. Anyone planning to attend should R.S.V.P. to Shane at 502.564.5937 or by email at email@example.com. The meetings will reference the 2009 Master Plan — Land, Legacy and Learning III — available at keec.ky.gov/publications.
