The Murray State University department of music is presenting the debut performance of the Park-Gianforte Duo on Thursday, April 12, at 6 p.m. in the Performing Arts Hall, located in the Doyle Fine Arts Center on the Murray State campus.
Comprised of violinist Sue-Jean Park and pianist Matthew Gianforte, the duo hopes to increase the visibility of the string and piano programs at Murray State, and to expose the region to a wide range of excellent literature written for this combination of instruments.
The program will feature important works and arrangements for violin and piano by W.A. Mozart and Claude Debussy. The concert is free and open to the public.
