Murray State University’s Roundabout U finds co-hosts Jim Carter and Sarah Clark syncing on two upcoming red-letter dates on the next episode — an anniversary and a holiday.

Carter and Clark talk one-on-one with Dr. Randy Dunn, president of Murray State University, and recognize him for five years of leadership on campus. Dunn began his official duties at the helm of the university on Dec. 1, 2006, and has been a strong advocate for MSU locally, statewide, nationally and internationally. Most recently, his initial three overarching imperatives for the university — Fostering Excellence, Building Partnerships and Creating Community —expanded into three newly introduced mandates — Excellence through Quality, Outreach with Partnerships and Innovation for Impact.

Also, Carter and Clark take the time for a stop at the university’s annual Rodeo Roundup to talk with some of the riders.

Plus, the cameras didn’t miss the President’s Concert with Murray State’s Wind Ensemble. The performance raised money for those affected by the earthquake and tsunami that occurred earlier this year in Japan.

Additionally, Carter gets the skinny on why we get so sleepy after feasting on all that Thanksgiving turkey. And, find out what one church is doing to help hungry children.
