Murray State University and Froggy 103.7 welcome Lady Antebellum to the CFSB Center on Sunday , December 11, 2011 at 6 pm.  Opening for Lady A will be Josh Kelley, and Edens Edge.

After selling out every city on the group’s first-ever headlining tour, Multi-Platinum group Lady Antebellum will launch the first leg of their OWN THE NIGHT 2011 TOUR on Nov. 11 in Knoxville, Tenn.  Both the tour name and trio’s upcoming album OWN THE NIGHT were inspired by the album’s second single, the anthemic “We Owned the Night.” The track is now being played on Froggy 103.7 and is available on iTunes. The album will be in stores on Sept. 13.

“We named our new album ‘Own The Night’ after one of our favorite songs ‘We Owned the Night’  off the new album, and felt it was a great description of how we wanted our fans to spend each night of tour with us,” explains Lady A’s Dave Haywood.  “When people come out to our live show or hear the song on the radio it’s a call to action. Be confident, live in the moment and enjoy the experiences you’re going through—own them.”

This concert is another in a series on “co-sponsored” events between MSU and Froggy 103.7, and follows on the heels of the very successful Miranda Lambert/Eric Church concert last October.  “The Lady A show has been in the works for quite some time, and I want to thank Jim Carter, (Vice President for Institutional Advancement), and Matt Parker at the CFSB Center for their relentless efforts on making this work,” said Scott Swalls, General Manager of Froggy 103.7. “The partnership between MSU and Forever Communications (parent company of Froggy 103.7) gets stronger each year.” Froggy 103.7 serves as the flagship station for Murray State football and men’s and women’s basketball.  “We have a very good working relationship, and the fact that our company (Forever Communications) has multiple country stations in western Kentucky and northwest Tennessee, makes the partnership a natural for promoting country concerts.”

Ticket prices are $42.50 for the lower level, and $34.50 for the upper level seating.  Tickets go on sale at the CFSB Box Office beginning at 10 am on Friday, August 26th, or may also be purchased at ticketmaster.com, or by calling Ticketmaster toll free at 800-745-3000.
